Mark Rothery : A site which has a complete set of well laid out and well referenced notes. The best bit in the reviewers opinion when we found the site was the answers the questions part by module. The really cool bit is that the answers are there but it's up to you when you reveal them.

Spolem : An excellent site - really well laid out with some fantastic links to other university level tutorials and bits of information - the liver tutorial and how it worked. There are also some hot potato interactive quizzes to test your knowledge and to make learning that bit more fun!!
Spolem Excellent site - really high quality link! www.spolem.co.uk |

Project Biology : This site looks as though a well meaning and professional teacher has reproduced their extensive notes on a website. What the site is lacking is the visual and colour content of some of the others. Despite this criticism there is a great deal of really useful materials and what appear to be very good value revision textbooks (£4) advertised - maybe this is how the project is funded.

Charles Zaremba : Charles Zaremba has had over 1million visitors to his site which has a complete set of notes for biology - although some of the links and ways of laying the text out do not match mainstream syllabi. (It can be a bit hard to find the theory you are looking for!)

S-Cool : This site has all the dynamic content that any motor learner would want (See learning styles!) The chunks of learning are broken down into manageable and digestible pieces so as not to over face the viewer. Despite this being a "professional" site, our review team still love it!
