PayPal is one o the famous online payment systems that allows you to shop online without the need to re-enter your information for every transaction.  In few minutes, you can easily set up a PayPal account and start using.
Below are the steps to follow
  • Creating an Account
  • Visit the PayPal Website
The first step is to visit the PayPal website. Another way to do this is to open the PayPal app. You can easily create an account from the PayPal homepage or from the mobile app. You can install the app at no price from your device's app store. The procedure for the account opening is extremely the same for both the website and the app.
  • Tap the "Sign Up for Free" option.
This is the beginning of your account creation process. There are two different options for business accounts, each with different cost structures and benefits. Standard accounts are free. But in order to check out, you must route through PayPal. Pro accounts are priced at $30 per month, but you are in full control of how you want to design the checkout process.
The Standard free business account and the old PayPal Premier account are the same. If you fall under the category of people that buy and sell a lot on eBay, this account is best suited for you.
  • Create A Username And Password
Input your email address and formulate a password. Ensure that your password is strong enough so that nobody else can have access to your financial information.
Also, ensure that you enter a valid email address. You'll need this email to verify your account. If you don't have an email account, learn how to create a Gmail.
Provide Your Personal Information
  • Provide Your Personal Information
Provide your personal information in the form. You'll be requested to provide your legal name, address, and phone number. All of this information is part of the requirements to create your account.
  • Your Credit Card Details
Provide your credit or debit card (optional). After you have entered your personal information, you'll be directed to enter your credit or debit card. You have the option of entering this now or later, but you'll need to enter it at some point if you want to verify your PayPal account.
If you have any reasons not to provide your card information now, just click "I'd rather link my bank first".
  • Bank Details
Enter your personal bank account information (optional). If you plan on receiving money and want to be able to transfer it to your bank, you will need to link a bank account. If you don't want to, it's not compulsory to do it now. In this case, just click the "I'll link my bank later" option. You'll be asked to confirm that you want to skip the process.
Apply for PayPal credit. Although this is optional, before you're taken to your account's Summary page, PayPal will ask you to sign up for a line of credit. Ensure you read all of the terms carefully before applying. If you'd rather not apply for credit, just click "No thanks".

  • Verifying Your Account

  • Confirm your email address
For you to receive money at your PayPal account, you'll have to confirm your email address. PayPal would have sent you an email when you created your account. Click the "Yes, this is my email" button in the email message sent to you to confirm your email address.
If you can't find the message in your inbox, check your Spam folder. If you still can't find this message, you can have PayPal send another message from your Account Summary page. Just click the "Confirm Email" link to send another message.
  • Link Your Account
Link your traditional bank account. For you to send money from your bank account or transfer funds you receive to your bank account, you'll have to link your bank account to PayPal. To get started, click the "Link a bank" option on your Account Summary page. To send money to friends and family from your linked bank account is cheaper than using your debit or credit card.
If your bank is among the listed banks, you'll be able to enter your online banking login information to automatically link your account.
If your bank is not listed, there is no cause for alarm. You'll be requested to provide your account number as well as your routing number. You will find these on the bottom of your checks. This takes between 24-48 hours to confirm. PayPal will make a deposit of two small amounts into your account. The sum of these amounts is less than a dollar. To confirm that you own the bank account, you'll be required to enter these two values. Within 24-48 hours, you'll be able to find these deposits on your online statement.
  • Link your debit or credit cards.
With PayPal, you can manage your various credit and debit cards. It allows you to checkout from websites without the need to enter your information each time. On your Summary Page, click the "Link a card" option to add a card to your PayPal wallet. You'll have to provide the card number, expiration date, and security code. The name on the card and the legal name you entered when creating your PayPal account must correlate. Your cards will be instantly linked.
